I was talking to my friend about how I wanted multiplayer lmao this is awesome. Any references to our prior instructions in comments were deleted. We updated the post to include links to instructions only. I deleted all comments referencing turning off firewalls as to not instruct anything other than the mod creators instructions. Does this mean you and the other person can interact in the game? Like can my sim talk to their sim? Well dang. Seems kinda scary to be turning off your firewall settings and giving access to your IP address.

Well into development, in response to the issues with SimCity, they decided to drop the always online aspect of TS4 and continued developing it as a single player offline game but because they were so far into development already, rather than starting over from scratch, they decided to just continue with what they had so far, which was very limited because of their initial always online attampt on it. Lol where have you been? They started developing the game as an always online type of game, like SimCityso it was going to be more limited than past Sims games because the servers needed to be able to handle the strain. CAS and the open world were also removed in favor of a limited color picker and loading screens. Base game features from previous games like toddlers, pools, etc. Now we have The Sims 4 and almost 4 years later its still a mess. Such as walk styles, technical limitations for no pools, emotions for no toddlers, etc. They quickly rehashed it into a singleplayer game under a year and made trillions of excuses as to why it was crud compared to previous Sim games. So, can we play multiplayer together? Yup, it is. I have original game, but my friend has, ehm, unoriginal game. Time to hunt down a friend to test it out. From there you will find all the information you need to start playing with the mod! Oh wow, cool! Oh and by the way, I just read the instructions right now, lol, but I highly recommend removing the part about disabling the firewall. To begin setting up this mod, you will need to sign up for their official Discord chat. Graphics are terrible in my opinion, liked WC3's.The Multiplayer Mod allows you to connect to a server with someone else so you can play together in the same save file at the same time! Who the hell thought of this? There seems to be less generals, but some of them are giving you diff. I couldn't take cities anymore because of this. No longer can tanks continue attacking when you defeat an enemy, now you rely on a 50 percent chance of attacking a second time and who knows if you will be lucky for a third. Can't progress far into the games campaign or conquest because of tank disasters. Can't even beat the first missions hard diff. There are only 2 difficulty levels instead of 3, less medals for the normal diff. Campaign is harder, way harder than WC3's was. I saw minor improvements and a lot of backlash from WC3 to this game. The game's biggest game mode called 'Scenario' is a big waste of time. Please fix this and I will fix my rating. Had spent so much time in conquest and campaign and got through campaigns and now I wasted my time playing this. Why don't you have a progress recovery that can be linked to a facebook account or something. Love the idea of the game but way too hard. But in this game whenever you get a town it automatically gives you the piece of land and its much smoother. In short, the micro purchase model kills the game. Where it fails is the intentional tipping of the scales in the enemies favor to entice you to make purchases. It reminds me of Axis and Allies but so much better. This game has the potential to be amazing. Other than that the game is perfect in my eyes. We will continue to develop and create the best war strategy game.
